Q: Can you tell us more about your winning photograph “The eye face”? How did you get idea for this photograph? Was is complex to execute it in post production?

A: I got the idea for this photograph when the mirror at my home got broken. I was trying to make a 2-dimensional photograph by using broken mirror as a medium. The complex part was capturing and presenting different moods of children. After I took several shots, I found 2 I liked the most and tried to composite them. It get’s a little bit hard to place the photo onto the mirror, because good selection with pen tool in Photoshop is a must. In post processing part, I converted this photo into B&W. For B&W post processing I use plugin Silver EfexPro 2 and textures. My last step was using Darken Light Nik Color Efex Pro 4 filter.

Q:  When did you start doing photography?

A: I start photography in 2010, when I got my first camera  Canon 50 D.
